I prepare breakfast from cottage cheese in 12 minutes and my tummy is always flat – simple, tasty and without feeling hungry until lunch

One of the most satisfying and light breakfasts for those who want to maintain their figure and not feel heavy in the stomach is a cottage cheese casserole without flour and sugar. It cooks very quickly, contains slow carbohydrates and easily digestible protein, and children eat it with pleasure, especially if you add some fruit.

Ingredients:

Cottage cheese 5–9% – 250 g
Egg – 1 piece
Oat bran – 1 tablespoon
Vanilla or cinnamon – a pinch
Salt – on the tip of a knife
Baking powder – ¼ teaspoon
Berries or banana – for serving

Preparation:

  • In a bowl, mash the cottage cheese with a fork so that there are no lumps.
  • Add the egg, bran, a pinch of salt, vanilla or cinnamon and baking powder. Stir until smooth.
  • Place the mixture in a small pan.
  • Preheat the oven to 180C and bake for 20-22 minutes until the top is lightly golden and springy.
  • Let it cool a little, the casserole will become even denser. Serve with berries, a slice of banana or a teaspoon of natural yoghurt.

This breakfast makes you feel full for 4-5 hours, does not cause sugar spikes and does not burden your digestion. It is ideal for the morning, especially if you drink coffee or tea without sugar.

Bon appetit!
