The day after University of Craiova – Steel 1-0a match in which he was not part of the squad, Assad Al Hamlawi (25 years old) registered himself playing Counter-Strike 2, a video game popular among athletes.

On February 1, Assad Al Hamlawi played about 20 minutes in Farul – Universitatea Craiova 4-1, introduced towards the end in the hope that he would bring an offensive addition.

In Thursday's match with the Steel, the Palestinian striker was no longer part of the team. The official explanation, obtained by GSP.ro: “He had a minor injury, a fibrillar injury, and we didn't want to take any chances“.

Until he is fit to play again, Al Hamlawi tries to unwind through video games. This afternoon, the day after the Steel match, he recorded LIVE playing Counter-Strike 2, one of the most popular “shooters” in the world.
