Krasnoyarsk entrepreneur will be convicted of fictitious supply of furniture to the House of Officers

In Krasnoyarsk, a local businessman will stand trial for fictitiously supplying furniture to the House of Officers.
According to the press service of the regional prosecutor's office, in end of 2024ode V Krasnoyarsk Housee they decided not to return officers to the budget region dedicated money to update the material and technical base of the Yunarmiya Center for Patriotic Education. The deputy director of the institution invited an individual entrepreneur he knew to “master” 448 thousand rubleslei through a fictitious purchase of furniture.
A week before the end of the financial year, an agreement was concluded between the institution and the entrepreneur for the supply of 80 army bedside tables worth 448 thousand rubleslei with a deadline of December 31.
“It was virtually impossible to complete the delivery within such a time frame, but this is precisely what the criminal plan was designed for: the real goods were not intended at all. After this, the entrepreneur generated a false delivery note and invoice for payment through the bank’s online service, which stated that the bedside tables were allegedly delivered and accepted. The deputy director, using his official position, misled the manager by presenting documents as confirmation of actual delivery, after which he signed them and agreed on payment,” explained the prosecutor's office.
As a result, money were transferred to the bank account of the entrepreneur, whoAnd he disposed of it at his own discretion. The furniture did not arrive at the House of Officers, and damage was caused to the regional budget on a large scale.
A criminal case was initiated against the accomplices fraudeabsolutelym by a group of persons by prior conspiracy, using their official position (Part 3 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The prosecutor's office approved the charges against the entrepreneur. The criminal case will be considered by the Central District Court of Krasnoyarsk.
The criminal case against an employee of the institution has been separated into separate proceedings and is still under investigation.
