“Hands up for more” “Romania, present at the competition

“Hands up for more” is the anthem of this year's World Handball Championship. The song is played by Lucille & Bria X, two artists from Hamburg.

The World Women's Handball Championship from 2025 will take place between November 26 and December 14 in Germany and the Netherlands. The matches will be played in Dortmund, Stuttgart, Trier, Rotterdam and 'S-Hetogenbosch.

The national “tricolor”, the only present in all editions, was distributed in Group A, along with Denmark, Japan and Croatia. The parties are scheduled in the Netherlands, at Rotterdam.

Preparations for the final tournament enter the last hundred meters. The anthem has already been released. According to the International Federation, the “hands up for more” represents a manifesto for equal sex in sport, but not only.

  • Group A (Rotterdam): Denmark, ROMANIAJapan, Croatia

  • Group C (Stuttgart): Germany, Serbia, Iceland, Uruguay
  • Group D (Trier): Montenegro, Spain, Faroe Islands, Paraguay
  • Group E (Rotterdam): Holland, Austria, Argentina, Egypt
  • Group F ('S-Hetogenbosch): France, Poland, Tunisia, China
  • Group G (Stuttgart): Sweden, Brazil, Czech Republic, Cuba
  • Group H (Trier): Norway, Angola, South Korea, Kazakhstan

At the last edition of the World Championship, in 2023, Romania finished 12th.

The title was awarded by France. Norway and Denmark were ranked on the podium.
