In the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, state traffic inspectors detained an offending driver in a Porsche Cayenne after a chase and an accident.

On the Kuragino-Cheremshanka highway, a motorist ignored the police’s request to stop and, accelerating, tried to escape. repeatedly violating traffic rules and creating a threat to others.

“In the end, the driver of the foreign car, moving in reverse, collided with a standing traffic police patrol car. After that, he tried to escape, but was detained by traffic police,” the traffic police said.

The foreign car was driven by a 37-year-old resident of the village of Kuragino. He showed signs of intoxication, but the man refused to undergo examination.

The police established that the defendant had previously been brought to administrative responsibility for drunk driving and was deprived of his license.

Now they have drawn up against him 14 administrative materials, including for driving into oncoming traffic, excessive tinting, as well as disobedience to a lawful order of a police officer. For the last violation, the court sentenced the man to 9 days of arrest.

In addition, a criminal case was opened against the Kuragin resident under Part 1 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Driving a vehicle while intoxicated by a person subject to administrative punishment or having a criminal record,” and the car was placed in a special parking lot.
