MTS digital ecosystem using the defender antispam analyzed the activity of telephone scammers in the first quarter of 2025.
For three months in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, one and a half times more undesirable challenges were blocked than during the same period of the last year. The maximum number of dubious blocked calls to one subscriber reached more than seven thousand times.

In total, MTS fenced Krasnoyarsk residents from 16 million unwanted calls. The duration of all blocked calls was more than three million minutes. The resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Spamers tried to get through more than seven thousand times from the beginning of the year – this is an average of 80 calls a day.
Mart became the most active for scammers for the month: the analysts of the platform recorded this month more than six million dubious challenges. A little “calmer” was February with five million blocked calls. The main schemes of fraud remained the same: most often, attackers seemed to be employees of banks and financial organizations or offered to undergo surveys.
“We limited the Krasnoyarsk residents and residents of the region from the hours of unnecessary and even dangerous conversations. But do not forget that the most important thing is vigilance. Only by observing the simple rules of caution can you avoid serious troubles, ”said Sergey Egoshin, director of MTS in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
