The prosecutor mixed an unknown substance into his subordinate's drink and raped her for an hour right in the prosecutor's office building
A high-ranking prosecutor from North Ossetia has been detained for raping a subordinate, media reports. The victim works as a senior prosecutor in the republic's prosecutor's office. After the end of the working day, she was called into the office by her boss, deputy head of the procedural control department, Grigory Avakyan.
According to the woman, the man began to pester her and persuade her to have sex. At first she fought back, but then was unable to resist – the prosecutor suspects that Avakian slipped some substance into her drink because she lost control of her body.
After the rape, the victim turned to the leadership of the republican prosecutor's office. According to the woman, they promised her that “they would sort everything out,” but at the same time they demanded that she not write a statement so as not to create a fuss. On the same day, Avakyan tried to pay off and left 1 million rubles in her car, asking her not to talk about what happened.
The woman eventually wrote a statement about the fact of rape, and also transferred money from Gregory to the Investigative Committee. Doctors confirmed that there had been violence – the victim’s body had characteristic injuries, bruises, abrasions, bruises and damage to internal organs.
Investigators came to the crime scene, to the office in the building of the Republican Prosecutor's Office, but they were not allowed there twice. The video surveillance recording from the office disappeared, and planned renovations were also starting in the room, which could have destroyed all the evidence. On the same day, Avakyan resigned from the prosecutor's office of his own free will.
