Specialists from the Krasnoyarsk branch of the Center for Quality Assessment of Agro-Industrial Products (CQA AIC) discovered violations in five samples of products from local producers. In January, the laboratory conducted more than 1,400 tests on 149 samples, including milk, cheese, processed meats and food service items.

In one of the cheese samples, experts identified coliform bacteria (coliforms). According to them, the entry of these microorganisms into the product indicates violations of hygiene or technology in production. Eating this type of cheese can lead to food poisoning.
Serious microbiological disorders were also found in ready-made cutlets and salad from catering. In the cutlets, both an excess of the total number of microorganisms and the presence of E. coli were recorded. Such deviations occur due to non-compliance with sanitary standards at the stages of preparation, storage or transportation. Consumption of such products is fraught with acute intestinal disorders and gastroenteritis.
Additionally, in two samples of stew, the proportion of protein was found to be underestimated, which is a violation of quality requirements. Information about all identified inconsistencies is entered into the federal system and sent to the Rosselkhoznadzor department for action.
