In Krasnoyarsk, a new production of furniture was launched at the site of the former Mekran plant.
The governor of the region Mikhail Kotyukov visited the factory, which is now called the “furniture manufactory of Krasnoyarsk.” There he was shown the first samples of products: tables, beds, chests of drawers and cabinets, bathroom furniture.

“I am pleased that the team, which leads this project, found a solution to complex production issues that the raw materials from which our furniture is produced, ours, Siberian. For the region, the issue of processing forest raw materials is fundamentally important. It will ensure the loading of forestry and procurers in the regions of the region. Furniture production in Krasnoyarsk will create a full production chain. I am sure this will allow you to produce a product that will be focused on the buyer with different requests and capabilities. I see the prospects of this area of both the individual housing construction and the implementation of the tourism development program in the region, ”the head of the region said.
Now the company is completing repair and construction work and debugging of technological equipment, the administrative building is being modernized. More than 150 people from Krasnoyarsk, Zheleznogorsk, Sosnovoborsk and Berezovka are working at the plant. The manufactory plans to reach the serial production of furniture by mid -2026.
