Donald Tusk ignores Pełczyńska-Nałęcz. He has been waiting for an interview for six weeks

When asked on Tuesday in the PAP Studio whether she would become deputy prime minister, Pełczyńska-Nałęcz replied that this was the agreement and promise made by all coalition partners during the reconstruction of the government, and then confirmed in talks between Prime Minister Tusk and Szymon Hołownia, the leader of Poland 2050, who was then the Speaker of the Sejm.
— We have kept the agreement and now the other side decides whether it respects its words in the coalition agreements or whether it does not respect these words. We assume that he respects her, because this is the basis for good coalition cooperation, if you keep your words, she said.

Contract to be implemented
She added that Hołownia kept his part of the agreement by resigning from the position of marshal, and Polska 2050 supported Włodzimierz Czarzasty (New Left) in the vote, thanks to which he became the new marshal of the Sejm. She stated that her party honors its agreements regardless of the actions of others. – We believe that this is what politics should look like – added Pełczyńska-Nałęcz.
When asked about the conversation with Prime Minister Tusk regarding her potential appointment as deputy prime minister, she replied that “six weeks ago” she asked for such a meeting, which has not taken place so far. She emphasized that she is always at the disposal of the head of government.

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz is a candidate for deputy prime minister
At the beginning of October, the National Council of Poland 2050 indicated Pełczyńska-Nałęcz as a candidate for the position of deputy prime minister. In mid-November, Hołownia, when asked by journalists whether Polska 2050 would receive the functions of deputy speaker of the Sejm and deputy prime minister, assured that this would happen “in the near future”, and the agreement was clear that if Polska 2050 “loses the function of speaker of the Sejm, it will have the function of deputy prime minister and will have the function of deputy speaker.” Prime Minister Tusk said in mid-October that he imagined a situation in which Pełczyńska-Nałęcz would take over the position of deputy prime minister.
Currently, the deputy prime ministers are: the head of the Ministry of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz (PSL), the head of the MC Krzysztof Gawkowski (Left) and the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski (KO). Thus, Poland 2050 is the only coalition grouping without a representative in the position of deputy prime minister.
