According to “The Independent”, he will now have to answer for some of his actions. Judge Theodore Chuang decided that Musk would have to testify in the case of one of the agencies liquidated by DOGE.

In his ruling, the judge wrote that there was “no alternative” except to question Musk and other senior State Department officials to explain the decision-making process to shut down the agency. The hearings will also address DOGE's role in the matter.
