A 5-year-old girl died, and her 67-year-old grandmother was injured after they were hit by a car on Prevederii street in Sector 3, Wednesday afternoon, informs the Road Brigade.

According to the first data, the car driver, a 38-year-old woman, was driving on Prevederii St. from Mizil St. to Trapezului St. and, arriving at building no. 24, surprised the pedestrians on the road.
The first aid crews intervened immediately, applying resuscitation maneuvers to the girl, but the doctors declared her dead. The grandmother was transported to the hospital for further medical care.
The driver was tested with the Alcoholtest and DrugTest devices, the results being “zero” and negative, respectively. Traffic on Prevederii St. is restricted in both directions, and the police continue their investigations to establish the causes and circumstances of the accident.
