The railway traffic in the Săârnţi – Roşiori Nord section, Teleorman county, was suspended on Tuesday, September 14, due to a technical malfunction registered by a private freight train, informs CFR SA.

According to the railway infrastructure administrator, the incident took place at 3:50 pm, on the second wire, when the train belonging to the TRC operator registered the traction hook to the tenth wagon.
Due to this problem, the railway circulation on the respective section is stopped until the completion of the technical interventions, according to AGERPRES.
We remind that the first thread of this section is already permanently closed for infrastructure works.
“In order to manage the situation and resume the traffic in safe conditions, the railway teams intervene on the spot. The first nine wagons of the train are withdrawn at the North Roşiori station, and the rest of the gasket is to be released from the current line,” specifies CFR SA.
