TVR news has a new boss. Public television prepares changes to the evening news

Anca Lăzărescu, a journalist with 30 years of experience in public television, will be the new head of TVR News. The information was confirmed by Lăzărescu for the Media Page.
She will replace Laurentiu Ciocăzanu who led this department for the last three years.
The Media page reports that the appointment of Anca Lăzărescu comes at a time when the management of TVR is preparing changes at the main news journal. Among these changes are changes of presenters and a possible change of the broadcasting time from 8.00 pm to 7.00 pm. The latter is not a final decision, it is still being analyzed.
TVR is led from November 2025 by Adriana Săftoiu, who was appointed the president and general manager of TVR in place of Dan Turturică.
Who is the new head of TVR News
Anca Lăzărescu joined the TVR Telejurnal as a reporter in 1997, then was a producer for several journals of the public station. Before TVR, he worked at Cotidianul and Ziua. She also led TVR news in 2010.
In the last year and a half, Anca Lăzătescu was editor-in-chief of the Culture, History and Spirituality Editorial Office, where she was also the producer of the programs Intrare Liberă and Jurnal Cultural.
