A resident of Lesosibirsk won a lawsuit against a recreation center in the Sharypovsky district

A resident of Lesosibirsk won the case against the Linevsky Bereg base in the Sharypovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The regional Office of Rospotrebnadzor said that in June 2025, a man booked a house at a recreation center for two days with his wife and children, having previously paid a deposit of 8,000 rubles. However, later, due to deteriorating weather, the family decided to shorten their vacation and go home earlier.

On the day of arrival, vacationers warned the receptionist that they would not stay on the second day. The base employee explained that in order to check out, you must first pay in full for the second day, and then the overpaid amount will be returned upon departure.

“The consumer has complied with this requirement. However, having vacated the room at the appointed time, he never received his money back. To solve the problem, the victim contacted Rospotrebnadzor,” the regional Office said.

Experts have prepared a statement of claim. Having considered the case, the court decided to recover from IP Barshinova T.V. in favor of the consumer:

• the cost of services not provided for the second day is 8,000 rubles;
• compensation for moral damage – 5,000 rubles;
• a fine of 50% of the awarded amount – 6,500 rubles.

At the moment, the court decision has not yet entered into legal force.
