The legend of Russian TV Nikolai Drozdov was urgently hospitalized for surgery.
The 88-year-old presenter developed deforming gonarthrosis of the knee joints of the 3rd degree. He is tormented by severe pain and lameness. One knee almost does not extend, because of this, the man walks with a cane. Treatment with tablets and physiotherapy helped only temporarily, now all the ailments have returned.
Therefore, Nikolai Nikolayevich was taken to the hospital – they will do the operation there: the joints will be replaced in the knees with artificial ones, first in one, then in the other.
