In Krasnoyarsk, a mother of many children, deprived of parental rights, was re-prosecuted for malicious evasion of child support payments. The total amount of the woman’s debt to her children exceeded 1.5 million rubles.

As reported by the press service of the bailiffs in the region, the debtor leads an antisocial lifestyle. The woman does not officially work and has no property that could be sold to pay off the debt. In an attempt to correct the current situation, the bailiffs repeatedly sent the woman to the Employment Center, but the measure did not have the desired effect. As a result, the unfortunate mother was brought to justice under 5.35.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (non-payment of funds for child support).

The court sent the persistent alimony defaulter to forced labor, but after serving her sentence, she continued to accumulate debts as if nothing had happened. Therefore, the bailiff opened a case against her under Part 1 of Art. 157 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (failure by a parent to pay funds for the maintenance of minor children without good reason in violation of a court decision or a notarized agreement). The debtor was sentenced to forced labor for a period of 9 months.

“During the period of serving the sentence, part of the earnings was used to pay off the debt, which made it possible to slightly reduce the amount of the debt. But after her release, the woman returned to her previous lifestyle, not working and continuing to evade paying her debts,” said the GUFSSP for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

In January of this year, bailiffs again brought the unfortunate mother to justice. Experts noted that a new criminal case could result in long-term imprisonment for the debtor.
