The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, had a “very positive” dialogue on Saturday with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodimir Zelenski, and announced after the meeting that Ukraine is prepared for an unconditional cessation of fire and that the so-called “coalition of the disposed”, led by Paris and London, will continue to work for this object. “The conclusion of the Ukraine war. This is an objective we share with President Trump (USA, no),” wrote Emmanuel Macron, on Saturday, in a post on platform X.
“Ukraine is prepared for an unconditional cessation of fire. President Zelenski told me this again today. He would like to collaborate with Americans and Europeans to implement it,” the French leader continued.
Meetings with Macron, Starmer and Trump
The President of Ukraine met with Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer after the meeting he had with the US leader Donald Trump. The dialogues took place in the margin of participation in the funerals of Pope Francis in the Vatican.
Volodimir Zelenski claims that he has managed to discuss “many” things with his American counterpart.
“We hope in a result of all the things that were spoken of,” said the Ukrainian leader on Telegram.
Zelenski said that he and Trump spoke, among others, about “the protection of our people's life, a complete and unconditional fire, a reliable and sustainable peace that will prevent the recurrence of the war.”

After meeting with the Ukrainian counterpart, the American leader addressed a message to the Russian, on the Truth Social Platform, threatening him with the possibility of sanctions.
