A young member of an international drug gang will be tried in Krasnoyarsk

A 21-year-old member of an international drug gang will stand trial in Krasnoyarsk, the regional prosecutor's office reported.

In 2025, the girl came to Krasnoyarsk and got a job in a drug store. The attacker took an apartment for rent and turned the rental property into a packing and storage point for tens of kilograms of prohibited substances. She conducted her activities through a shadow Internet platform, corresponding with an anonymous “operator” from the darknet.

At the end of the summer of 2025, on the instructions of the “operator,” the attacker removed a large batch of drugs from a cache near the village of Startsevo. Then she began placing “bookmarks” in the Leninsky and Sverdlovsky districts of Krasnoyarsk, as well as in the suburbs near Berezovka. The girl photographed the hiding places with geotags and uploaded them to the store’s website, where customers could purchase the “forbidden item.”

“A few months later, the girl moved out of the apartment and moved to another, but she left some of the drugs in the old apartment, hiding the package behind the sofa. When the owner, after her departure, discovered a prohibited substance and equipment behind the sofa, she contacted law enforcement,” the press service of the supervisory agency said.

During the check, the whereabouts of the ex-tenant were quickly established. During the search, more than 2.5 kilograms of mephedrone and “crystals,” packaging and packaging equipment, as well as phones and access to accounts on the darknet were confiscated from the girl.

The regional prosecutor's office confirmed charges against her for attempted illegal sale of drugs on an especially large scale as part of an organized group operating in Russia and the Kingdom of Thailand (Part 3 of Article 30, paragraphs “a”, “d” of Part 4, Part 3 of Article 30, Part 5 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The criminal case will be considered by the Leninsky District Court of Krasnoyarsk.
