In the first stage, the system covers only the largest companies, i.e. those that achieved a turnover exceeding PLN 200 million in 2024. According to estimates of the Ministry of Finance, there are approximately 4.2 thousand such companies.

“KSeF has started. As planned and efficiently. Without any disruptions. The first thousand invoices have been received by KSeF” – Finance Minister Andrzej Domański wrote on the X website on Sunday morning.
As the head of the ministry added, this is “another step in building a modern Polish economy.” He also thanked “everyone involved in this project – accountants, entrepreneurs, integrators and, of course, employees.”
In the second stage, which will start on April 1 this year, the system will cover the remaining companies – except for the smallest ones, which will be covered by it from January 1, 2027. The regulations define the smallest companies as entities whose turnover in a given month requires documentation in KSeF of no more than PLN 10,000. PLN per month. This means that these are entrepreneurs issuing invoices worth over PLN 10,000 to other companies. zloty. Meaning that from April 1, the system will cover a large number of people working in the so-called self-employed people who issue invoices for other companies.
