At the same time, the export of batteries throughout the EU increased by 3 percent, mainly due to the increased activity of the Czech Republic and the Netherlands, while other leading producers, e.g. Hungary (leader from 2024) and the Germans, also recorded declines.


In turn, the export of vehicles for transporting goods fell by 25 percent. against a 17 % inheritance throughout the EU. Poland is currently in 4th place in the Union, with the participation of about 15 percent. total EU exports worth EUR 1.1 billion. Inhibition of growth dynamics in the automotive industry, especially in Germany, influenced supply chains and lower export values from Poland from other Polish hits from the vehicle part sector, including body elements.
Pie stated that despite the difficult situation of the international environment in the first quarter of 2025, Polish exports maintained the level of last year, and in some categories there was an increase.
The export of digital machines for data processing increased by 30 percent. in the first quarter of 2025 and reached EUR 0.81 billion. Poland dominates in the EU in this category with the participation of over 55 percent. total exports of the Union. While the export of these machines throughout the EU increased by only 2 percent, Poland strengthened its position on this market. On a global scale in 2024, only Taiwan and the USA overtook it, and the Polish share in world trade was 14 percent.
The export of steel structures, parts of jet engines and medicines also increased significantly, which places Poland in 1st, 2nd and 14th place in the EU, respectively.
