Up to PLN 1,800 per month. ABW and AW with housing benefits

Special Services Coordinator Tomasz Siemoniak announced on Saturday on the X platform that Prime Minister Donald Tusk had signed a regulation on housing allowances for officers of the Internal Security Agency and the Intelligence Agency. He emphasized that this is real support for officers on the front line.

The regulation states that the basic rate, which is the basis for determining the amount of housing benefit to which Intelligence Agency officers are entitled, is PLN 300.00. The same rate also applies to the Internal Security Agency.

Moreover, location multipliers for poviats will be the basis for determining the amount of housing benefits to which officers are entitled. “From PLN 900 to PLN 1,800 per month depending on place of residence, paid with compensation from July 1, 2025” – wrote Tomasz Siemoniak on X.

The services coordinator also informed that the benefit is tax-free. According to him, this is real support for officers on the front line, i.e. for those who risk their lives and health for the safety of Poles. (PAP)
