The National e-Invoice System will be used to issue, send, receive and store invoices in transactions between enterprises. In the first stage, the system will cover companies that had a turnover exceeding PLN 200 million in 2024. In the second stage – which will start on April 1 this year. – the system will cover all other companies, except the smallest ones, which are to be covered by the system from January 1, 2027. The regulations recognize the smallest companies as having a monthly turnover documented through KSeF of no more than PLN 10,000. PLN per month.

On Saturday, January 31, there will be an open day dedicated to KSeF. As the Ministry of Finance informs on its website, tax offices (except specialized ones) can be visited from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The ministry announces that during this time, anyone interested will be able to meet with an office employee and obtain individual explanations, ask questions and test the KSeF system in terms of logging in and receiving invoices.

According to the ministry, employees on duty will provide information about the system and discuss the most important steps that need to be taken to prepare for its use. One of them is the submission of the ZAW-FA form, which allows entities that conduct their business in a form other than sole proprietorship (i.e. companies, foundations, associations and other organizations) to gain access to KSeF and do not have a qualified seal. The form can be submitted in paper form or electronically via the e-Tax Office platform to the appropriate Head of the Tax Office. (PAP)
