Nicușor Dan published the list of gifts received since he was president. Which is the most expensive?

The Presidential Administration has published the list of goods received free of charge on the occasion of protocol actions in 2025. A tie, a porcelain tea set, but also many paintings and plaques have been received by the president since taking office.

The Presidential Administration has published the list of goods received free of charge on the occasion of protocol actions and submitted to the Evaluation Commission within the Presidential Administration in 2025. The goods are accompanied by their value in euros and lei and are destined for the Heritage of the Presidential Administration, the document states, writes Mediafax.

The most expensive such item is a framed cherry colored Ettinger leather photograph with glass and passe-partout, autographed by His Majesty King Charles III and Queen Camilla. This is estimated at a value of 3,400 euros.

All other goods have a value below 1,000 euros.

Three paintings, representing people dressed in national costume, nature and the entrance to a fortress, were valued at just 5 euros each.

The head of state also received an eight-piece Gmundner Keramika porcelain set, four tea cups and four saucers with red and green reindeer. Also included in the Heritage of the Presidential Administration is a porcelain tea set containing two tall mugs and two oval mugs, from Historic Royal Palaces.

A painting with the Romanian flag in the shape of a triangle, with a black plastic frame, mount and glass, was also received. “The flag was flown in a real Air Police mission over the Baltic Sea aboard the F-16 MLU aircraft from the “Carpathian Vipers” Detachment in honor of the President of Romania, Mr. Nicușor Dan,” the document states.

The head of state also received a green Seroussi tie, personalized with the insignia of the “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, as well as church objects with the insignia of the Ecumenical Patriarch.

The total value of the goods amounts to 9,862 euros.
