Residents and guests of Krasnoyarsk were called to the Kyrgyz national holiday. This was reported in the city hall.

On June 15, a national holiday of nomadic peoples will celebrate in the regional center. Zhailoo is translated as a pasture or summer migration of cattle into mountainous areas rich in juicy herbs. It is associated with the traditional type of activity of the Kyrgyz – livestock.

At 12:00 on the east side of the island of Tatyshev, a concert program will begin. The hit “Mother Earth” will be performed by singer Kanykei, accompanied by dancers of the Kyrgyz group “Drive”. A colorful yurts will be placed near the stage complex. Citizens will touch the traditions and culture of the Kyrgyz people. From national dishes, you can taste fragrant pilaf and fresh cakes, drink koumiss and ayran.

At 14:30, fights of struggle on Kurosh belts will begin in the clearing. Participants will be able to demonstrate their strength and dexterity, competing for the title of the best.

Recall that Zhailoo has been celebrated in Krasnoyarsk since 2019. This time, the holiday will be held as part of the municipal program “Promoting the development of civil society in the city of Krasnoyarsk”. One of its tasks is to strengthen interethnic and interfaith consent in the capital of the region.
