“Rosseti Sibir” prepared the power grid complex for the international tournament “Ivan Yarygin Cup”

The XXXVII International freestyle wrestling competition “Ivan Yarygin Cup” started in Krasnoyarsk today, January 29. Specialists from the branch of Rosseti Sibir – Krasnoyarskenergo checked the readiness of the power system for hosting a major sporting event.

First of all, the power engineers carried out additional inspections of the equipment providing power supply to the Sports Palace named after. Ivan Yarygin. An inspection of electrical installations in the places where competition participants were accommodated was also carried out.

In case of possible technological disruptions at key power centers, the readiness of backup power supply sources was checked. 7 teams consisting of 21 specialists and 9 units of special equipment are on standby.

During the tournament, a technological silence regime was introduced at the Krasnoyarskenergo branch: all planned work on facilities that provide power supply to sports grounds and participants’ residences was cancelled.

Let us remind you that international freestyle wrestling competitions will be held in the regional center from January 29 to February 1. Athletes from 21 countries will gather at the Ivan Yarygin Sports Palace. For the first time, wrestlers from Brazil will take part in the competition.
