Metropolitan Nikita was told about the construction of the first Orthodox gymnasium in Krasnoyarsk for 11 classes

On November 25, Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk held a working meeting on the construction of an Orthodox gymnasium in the regional center near the Church of the Nativity of Christ.

The participants discussed the progress of work and measures to accelerate its pace. The current results were summed up: at the moment, the external façade and internal rough work have been completely completed, the laying of tiles has begun, and the installation of the sports ground is nearing completion. Color solutions for the offices should be agreed upon in the near future.

“All meeting participants expressed satisfaction with the pace of work and understanding of the need for its speedy completion. To strengthen control over compliance with the established deadlines, with the blessing of the ruling bishop, it was decided to hold such working meetings twice a month,” the press service of the diocese said.

A two-story building is being erected next to the existing Orthodox gymnasium of primary general education, where children study until the 4th grade, and then move on to regular secular schools. In the new one, they will be able to study for all 11 years and receive a completed secondary education.
