In Krasnoyarsk, the prosecutor's office succeeded in declaring the marriage of a local resident invalid.

The supervisory agency said that a resident of Krasnoyarsk turned to them for help. She wanted to marry a man who was currently serving under a contract. But at the registry office it turned out that there would be no registration — her chosen one is already married.

It turned out that the man really married someone else, but the couple could not live together and broke up six months later. They did not file for divorce. Later it turned out — the man thought that his wife was unilaterally dealing with this issue.

The first wife of the serviceman herself soon found a new chosen one and decided to marry him. In the application form at the registry office, she did not indicate information about the marriage; there was no stamp in her passport. The fact that at the time of registration in the state system there was no information about the previous marriage helped to break the rules. As a result, the woman found herself with two simultaneous marriages.

The prosecutor's office noted that this is a violation of state principles on family and the inviolability of marriage.

“The prosecutor applied to the court to declare the union invalid. At the trial, the groom honestly said that he believed that his first wife had divorced herself a long time ago, and for him it was “normal.” He said: “If she got married a second time, why shouldn’t I?” The court granted the claim and canceled the registration,” — the press service said.
