According to investigators, the incident occurred after a traffic conflict between a man driving a car and a pedestrian. The latter, as stated by the police, was crossing the road in an unspecified place, because of which the driver reprimanded him, and subsequently a quarrel arose between the men.
After that, according to law enforcement, the driver pulled out a weapon and fired approximately three shots in the direction of the man.
“As a result of the incident, a Kiev resident was injured in his leg and back,” the statement says.
Investigators informed the man of suspicion of hooliganism committed with the use of an object previously prepared to cause bodily harm. For his crime he faces up to seven years in prison.
