A participant in the shift, 16-year-old Sofia from the Chernihiv region, said that the experience of living in the occupied territories strengthened her as an activist. She has now become the school's president and organizes activities for the younger children.
“Being in this camp means relaxing, rebooting, sorting out your thoughts. Psychological training is very important to me here. For example, I experienced a situation this way, but a psychologist talks about it differently. I combine all this and begin to understand how I can get out of this situation or what I have already achieved,” said Sofia.
The organizers noted that for two weeks the shift participants rested and improved their health, worked with psychologists and mastered blogging skills. “Blogger Camp” employs professional psychologists from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, who help people live through traumatic experiences and reduce anxiety levels.
“I can say with confidence that at the end of each shift, the children show noticeable results, noticeable progress: how their eyes glow when they ride, they receive valuable knowledge, valuable prizes. Children want to come back here. Such feedback greatly reinforces the confidence that the project really produces results, that children can gain knowledge that strengthens their psychological state,” said Foundation psychologist Oksana.
