Ukrainian culinary YouTube blogger Ivan Yanyuk on January 28 told how to prepare a very tender cottage cheese casserole with a creamy structure.

Yanyuk noted that this recipe is so simple that you just need to mix all the ingredients and bake in the oven. In addition to cottage cheese, you will also need cream cheese for the dough.

Products:

  • 5 eggs;
  • 90 g sugar;
  • 10 g vanilla sugar;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • 300 g cream cheese;
  • 360 g cottage cheese;
  • 50 g flour;
  • 100 g cream with 33% fat content.

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 170°C.
  2. Line the pan with parchment.
  3. Break two eggs into a bowl.
  4. Separate three yolks and add them to the eggs.
  5. Add sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Mix well with a whisk.
  6. Add cream cheese, cottage cheese, flour and cream.
  7. Blend the mixture with an immersion blender until completely smooth.
  8. Pour mixture into prepared pan and bake for 45 minutes.
  9. Serve with sour cream or topping.

Important nuances

  1. The cottage cheese should be without grains.
  2. After baking, the casserole will settle a little – this is normal.
  3. Do not overcook the casserole in the oven to maintain a creamy texture.
  4. You can serve within 10 minutes after you remove the casserole from the oven.
