Also last year, the center’s specialists examined more than 4 million tons of grain for quality and safety. As part of quarantine phytosanitary control – 4.5 million cubic meters. m of forest products, more than 2 million tons of grain, 125 thousand tons of imported fruits and vegetables. More than 4 million cubic meters were disinfected. m of warehouse space, 248 thousand tons of grain products for export and 205 thousand tons of intervention fund grain.

“During the state monitoring of soft and durum wheat, our specialists took 2.3 thousand samples from 1.2 million tons of grain – this is 80.2% of its gross harvest in the region. The analysis showed that 310.6 thousand tons of the studied grain corresponded to class 3, 495.2 thousand tons – to class 4, and 424.4 thousand – to class 5. 65.5% of the tested volume is suitable for food purposes,” clarified Director of the Krasnoyarsk branch of the CSC APK Alexandra Melnikova.
