In the city of Yeniseisk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, on the afternoon of January 27, a large fire occurred in a garage box containing five cars. All of them were destroyed by fire.
“The fire was reported at 12:58 p.m. There was a threat of the fire spreading to neighboring buildings, but they were saved. The fire was extinguished on an area of 500 m² by 23 people and 7 pieces of equipment. As a result, five vehicles burned down. No people were hurt“, – said the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Extinguishing a fire in a garage
It has been previously established that everything happened due to a malfunction of the systems, mechanisms and components of one of the vehicles.
Another major fire happened the day before in the village of Beryozovka – a one-story carpentry shop there caught fire in the morning. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations with the help of 15 people and 4 units of equipment extinguished the fire on an area of 200 m²; its cause was said to be violations during the operation of the furnace.
In just the past 24 hours, a fire was extinguished in the Krasnoyarsk Territory 14 fires, no casualties.
