The General Director of the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI), Kirill Sharil, talked about how it was possible to increase the safety of the Russian MS-21 aircraft. According to him, the parameters of the vessel controls more than ten restrictions, including overload, angle of attack, the number of Mach and speed, writes IA IrkutskMedia.
Cyril also noted that the introduction of side control handles significantly influenced the controllability of the aircraft and the ergonomics of the cab. Now studies are being conducted that will improve the controllability of the aircraft in various flight modes, including landing in the side wind.

The MS-21 project is at the final stage of implementation. The aircraft passes certification tests. The ship has many technical innovations, including the composite wing, the level of comfort in the aircraft is also higher.
It is expected that the certification flights of a fully imported MS-21 with domestic engines will begin in the summer.
