A meeting of the Council for Science and Education under the President of the Russian Federation was held in Moscow. It was chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Council Dmitry Medvedev. The Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov, who is a member of the Council, took part in the work.
The press service of the regional government said that the main topic of the meeting was the results of the examination of works for the Russian Presidential Prize in the field of science and innovation among young scientists for 2025. About 200 works from all over the country were submitted to the competition, with more than 130 studies presented by scientists from the Central, Volga and Siberian Federal Districts.
“Each of the works is not a figure of speech – it is truly a serious study. I would like to thank the authors of these studies. Our young scientists thereby prove that they can achieve the most serious results in a variety of directions. I am sure that in the future they will also continue to move along this path,” said Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Council on Science and Education under the President of Russia.
Let us recall that the Prize of the President of the Russian Federation is awarded for the results of scientific research that have significantly enriched domestic and world science, made a significant contribution to the development of natural, technical and human sciences, as well as for the development of samples of new equipment and progressive technologies for the innovative development of the economy and social sphere, strengthening the country's defense capability.
The candidates identified by the Council will soon be recommended to Vladimir Putin for a final decision on the award.
