In Krasnoyarsk, contractors were found to improve two streets in the historical center

In 2026, two transverse streets of the historical center – Kirov and Dictatorship of the Proletariat – should get a new look in Krasnoyarsk. The mayor's office said that the work will be carried out as part of the preparation of Krasnoyarsk for the 400th anniversary.

A large complex of works is planned on the streets, which will be carried out by different organizations under several municipal contracts. The corresponding decision was made taking into account the experience of last year. The new system should help more effectively control the work culture, the safety of work, as well as the synchronization and adherence to schedules.

It is already known that the lighting will be handled by Energoengineering LLC. This organization will first have to build a network of underground cable channels where all the wires will be removed. In addition, the contractor will have to install modern lighting poles and lamps with warm light on the streets in the historical center of the city.

The new furniture will be installed by Pradof LLC. The company must ensure timely production, delivery and installation of new bins, benches, bicycle racks and other elements provided for by the project.

Contracts for basic landscaping work in the pedestrian part of Kirov and Dictatorium of the Proletariat streets are currently being concluded. The winners of the bidding for their production were Eniseygroup LLC and Sfera LLC (Kirova St.). With the help of various types of paving stones in the historical center, transit, facade, technical zones and landscaping zones will be demarcated. Modern drainage systems, granite depressions will appear on the sidewalks, and parking will be streamlined.

One of the key innovations of the project will be the arrangement of a bicycle path along Dictatorship of the Proletariat Street, which will close the central bicycle ring between the Yenisei and Kachi embankments. Taking into account the planned construction of a bridge from Tatyshev Park to Green Grove, it will connect almost all the left bank districts of the city.

In the near future, a contractor will also be identified who will carry out roadway repairs on two cross streets in the Central District. Work is scheduled to begin in the spring, as soon as weather permits.

Let us remind you that the project for improving the transverse streets of the historical center of Krasnoyarsk is being implemented with the financial support of the regional government. Last season, the streets of Karatanov, 9 January, Perenson and Dzerzhinsky took on a new look.
