In Norilsk, a woman died in a fire in an apartment building on Komsomolskaya Street. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the region.
The fire occurred in an apartment on the fifth floor; firefighters who arrived on the scene extinguished the fire in an area of 5 square meters. 4 units of special equipment and 13 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were involved in the extinguishing.
In the apartment that caught fire, a man was rescued by a member of the gas and smoke protection service and a dead woman was found. The fire damaged household items and furniture.
The cause of the incident is currently being determined by the operational investigation team.
