Russians were warned against creating spectacular photos and videos of boiling water in the cold

January 25 16:00

Residents of Russian cities participate in “Dubak Challenge”. On social networks, they share videos of how they pour boiling water in the cold to create a spectacular arc of ice and a steam curtain.

Experts ask not to repeat the experiment. Drops of boiling water do not have time to freeze in the air and can leave painful burns on the skin. “If boiling water gets into your eyes, it could end in hospitalization. The worst outcome is loss of vision,” experts explained.

As Yamal 1 writes, the trend has already led to real victims. Several people ended up in the hospital with thermal burns. Some of them have already spoken about the consequences on camera.
