
The editors of the Ukrainian culinary website Shuba have published a recipe for juicy pork cutlets.
“You can cook cutlets very quickly and then not think about what to feed your family for several days. There are many recipes for delicious cutlets, but this time our attention was drawn to the Polish way of preparing this meat dish,” the website says.
Ingredients:
- 500 g minced pork;
- 100 g pearl barley;
- one onion;
- two cloves of garlic;
- one egg;
- 45 g flour;
- 45 g breadcrumbs;
- salt, pepper and paprika to taste.
Preparation
- Finely chop the onion and fry it until golden.
- Mix the minced meat with spices, add the egg, pearl barley, onion and pressed garlic.
- Mix thoroughly, beat the mixture lightly and form into cutlets.
- Mix flour and breadcrumbs, roll cutlets in this mixture.
- Fry in a well-heated frying pan over medium heat until golden brown, three to four minutes on each side.
