The first state IVF center in the Krasnoyarsk Territory will open its doors to patients in early 2026. Legislative Assembly deputy Ilya Zaitsev reported on his Telegram channel that the department expects final licensing in December.
Today, November 26, the parliamentarian, together with the leaders of the regional Ministry of Health, discussed the center’s readiness to open. The head physician of the Krasnoyarsk Interdistrict Clinical Hospital No. 4, Veronika Kozhukhova, noted an important thing: a married couple should have access to a full cycle of care in one medical organization. The new department provides this.
The IVF center has modern equipment, a unified diagnostic chain and a patient support system at all stages. Non-medical details have also been thought through. such as: a pleasant atmosphere, music, comfortable chairs and the opportunity for a couple to be together in any circumstances.
Ilya Zaitsev noted that it was precisely this approach that Krasnoyarsk residents lacked earlier. In pursuit of better conditions, people often left for procedures in other countries. With the opening of the state medical center there will be no need for this.
A separate topic for discussion was the development of the Krasnoyarsk Interdistrict Clinical Hospital No. 4 as a whole. Moreover, we were talking not only about women’s health, but also about men’s health. The medical institution will soon have a second urology department. It will become a platform for advanced microsurgery, from fertility restoration to precision surgeries such as testicular biopsy and ductal repair.
Let us remind you that now, on the initiative of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Mikhail Kotyukov, work to preserve reproductive health in the region continues and intensifies. This is a direct contribution to achieving the goals of the national project “Family”.
