The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) reported that on Friday, in the extra-Carpathian regions, the weather will be closed with persistent cloudiness throughout the interval, and the rest of the sky will be temporarily cloudy.

There will be light precipitation, predominantly snow, especially during the day in most of Moldova and in small areas in Transylvania, mostly rain, locally in Dobrogea and northeastern Muntenia, but towards the evening and at night also in northern Crișana, in Maramureș and in northwestern Transylvania, and for the rest, there will only be light rain or drizzle.

There will be dust deposits, locally in the northwest of the territory and isolated in the center, south and southeast. The wind will blow weak and moderate, with temporary intensifications in the south of Banat, where at night there will be speeds in general of 40…60 km/h.

The daily thermal values ​​will be above the multiannual averages specific to this date in the west of the territory and partly in the mountain areas, and in the rest they will be close to the norms, thus the maximums will be from -1…0 degrees in the north of Moldova and isolated in Transylvania and 8…9 degrees in the hilly areas of Banat and Crișana, and the minimums, in the vast majority above the climatological normal, will be between -7 and 4 degrees.

Fog will be reported locally in the south, center and east of the territory.

In Bucharest, the weather will be overcast, and especially in the morning and at night, fog will form and there will be temporary drizzle conditions.

The wind will blow weakly. The maximum temperature will be 1…2 degrees, and the minimum -1…0 degrees.

Meteorologists have also published the weather forecast for the next four weeks.

Week of 26.01.2026 – 02.02.2026

– The thermal values ​​will be above the specific ones for this week throughout Romania, but with a more pronounced positive thermal deviation in the southeastern regions.

– The rainfall regime will be excessive throughout the country, but especially in the southern regions and in the area of ​​the Southern Carpathians.

Week 02/02/2026 – 02/09/2026

– Average temperatures will be above normal for this range, in all regions.

– The amounts of precipitation will be excessive in the southern and eastern regions, and in the rest they will be close to normal.

Week 02/09/2026 – 02/16/2026

– The average air temperature will have slightly higher values ​​than normal for this period, at the level of the entire country.

– The rainfall regime will be slightly excessive in most regions, but especially in the southwestern ones.

Week 16.02.2026 – 23.02.2026

– The average thermal values ​​will be slightly above the specific ones for this week, throughout Romania.

– The amounts of precipitation estimated for this interval will be close to normal, in most parts of the country.
