Trump behaves in the matter of Greenland like any abuser: “What I'm going to do to you is because of you” / And about the cake cut by Simion

The possible, unknown connection between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin is an older topic of conversation in the US. In the same way, there is discussion in Romania about the possibility that George Simion has hidden relations with the Russian Federation.

I never credited the version that George Simion is a Russian agent. The main statements came from Anatol Șalaru, the former Minister of Defense from the Republic of Moldova. He discussed the membership of the AUR chairman in the FSB. And Şalaru also detailed them.

The story of the Ukrainian general

“A Ukrainian general said that he was informed that George Simion met with people from the FSB in the Chernivtsi region,” explained Şalaru, in an interview in HotNews.

The Ukrainians were monitoring the FSB guy and found out about the Russian's meeting with Simion. Even Şalaru admits that he has no knowledge of the content of the discussion. A Russian spy in already-tense Ukraine 10 years ago doesn't meet someone by shoving his ID under his nose and saying, “I'm from the FSB.”

We have no evidence that Simion knew he was seeing a spy. Spies do just that: they meet people and say they are business consultants, plumbers or literature teachers.

Putin made no effort to “make them ID”.

I don't think Simion is affiliated with Russia. I think that, on the contrary, he thinks with his mind and that he is a free man. However, I also believe that he has no respect for the democratic values built with great difficulty, painful returns and sacrifices by so many Romanians. Thus, the leader of the AUR brings huge services to Russia.

As with Donald Trump, George Simion did not force Vladimir Putin to make the effort to recruit him. There was no need. Blackmail is redundant and expensive when the other person ends up doing exactly what you want just because their ideas and beliefs about the world are similar to yours.

All three politicians, American, Russian and Romanian, show that they want us to live in a world where they give us the rights, democracy is a sham, and the right does not exist.

Cake choreography

Belief in these anti-democratic values and George Simion's legendary opportunism recently led him to stab through the “Greenland map”.

Present in Washington, the AUR leader attended a reception. From the footage posted by Simion on X it is understood that some Republicans ordered a cake in the shape of Greenland. Trump's sycophants invited those present to cut pieces of the cake. The guests did not let themselves down.

George Simion filmed himself cutting off a piece of Greenland that was on offer.

In football terms this is called “Cake Choreography”. Galleries do it, when they display messages and repeat gestures, in a certain order and in sync, to give a message. The Danes would do a similar choreography with the map of Romania cut out with a saw. How would we feel?

90% of Americans oppose taking Greenland by force

At Davos, Donald Trump appeared to be taking a step back. Or, as the Danish prime minister cautiously put it, at least there was no escalation in his words. How much more ground can you put on the word of the US president? What will George Simion do now? Does the letcon glue the cake?

Better wait a little longer. Tomorrow morning, maybe Trump changes his mind and attacks Denmark militarily. “We have a force, frankly, unstoppable,” he said in Davos himself.

Do you know where it can all stop, though? When people understand. As much as you can say, like Trump, that attacking an ally is “always an option” and that democracy is a weakness, nearly 90% of Americans say they don't want the US to attack Greenland.

Coalition of abusers

Countless surveys show the same thing. The Americans who pay both Trump and his government do not want to send the army against Europe. For their part, the Europeans are preparing to change the page.

On both sides of the Atlantic, the idea that we are facing a coalition of abusers is beginning to take hold. And, like any abuser, Trump blames the victim: “What I'm going to do to you is because of you.” People feel this, more and more, on their skin.

At Davos, Trump again displayed contempt for Europe, doubled by his courtiers. He ended up booing and walking out of the room at the impertinent speech of the US Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick.

“Are we all moving to Greenland for free healthcare?”

If it was like that in Davos, let's see how it will be in the stands at the European Championship matches, when fans from all over the world will be there. For Trump to see what the world thinks of him.

The words of one of the American citizens, a reader of a conservative publication, who commented on one of the articles: “And after we conquer Greenland, we all quickly move there so that we, the Americans, can also have free, civilized healthcare.” That's because I still despise Trump, Putin and, with your permission, the last one on the list, George Simion, the achievements of Europe.
