Sibiga denied media information about the likely meeting of the delegations of Ukraine and the Russian Federation in Turkey


As the TGRT Turkish news channel wrote, the parties allegedly plan to communicate at the headquarters of the Turkish Naval Forces Command on April 15-16. However, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called this information fiction.

Context

On March 23 and 25, negotiations between the delegations of Ukraine and the United States were held in Riyadi (Saudi Arabia). The teams of America and Russia held a closed meeting on March 24 in Riyadh.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umarov, representing Kyiv in negotiations, said that Ukraine and the United States agreed to ensure safe shipping in the Black Sea, but Russia's movement of its military judges outside the western part of the Black Sea will become the basis for the self -defense of Ukraine.

On April 1, the speaker of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Dmitry Pletenchuk said that there was no formalized document confirming the beginning of a truce in the Black Sea between Kiev and Moscow.
