In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, over the three years of the next stage of the capital repair program, more than 4,100 types of work were completed in 2,908 apartment buildings, the regional Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services reported.

The roofs of 720 houses were repaired, and the gas supply system of 331 houses was put in order. Also, 1,612 engineering systems for drainage, heating, hot and cold water supply, 75 basements, 191 facades, and 473 power supply systems were repaired. 1,155 new elevators were installed in 365 buildings.

“In houses that independently organize major repairs and collect funds on special accounts, 26 roofs, 102 electrical supply systems, 103 engineering systems for drainage, heating, hot and cold water supply, 53 facades, 28 basements were repaired, 139 elevators were replaced in 52 apartment buildings,” the press service said.

Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the region Yuri Shestopalov noted that the completed three-year period has become the most productive since the start of the program in 2014.

“An even larger volume is planned for the next three years. Almost all residents know how the capital repair system functions; every second house has had some type of work done. Sometimes we encounter criticism from residents, to which we try to respond promptly. In general, the program is in demand, without it it is impossible to renovate housing,” the official explained.
