“The situation is supercritical.” Military personnel of the 68th Separate Brigade and the 7th Air Force Corps spoke about the situation in Pokrovsk

“In my opinion, the situation in Pokrovsk is super-critical, I can’t say that it’s under control. Of course, our command has intentions to restore the situation and a stable line, but, unfortunately, a bunch of DRGs are seeping through and bringing chaos to our orders and logistics. A lot of units have come to work, they need to be effectively destroyed and responded in a timely manner,” emphasized the commander of the Dovbush’s Hornets UAV battalion.

According to him, it is very difficult to clear out DRGs in the city, because it is almost impossible to look into every hole and crevice and detect enemies.

“The Russian military does not reveal itself everywhere, they follow different instructions, they disguise themselves. When they see, say, a group, they do not enter into shooting contact; ours pass in the hope that the enemy has not been detected. Cases are becoming more frequent when an effective clearing is carried out and the enemy is destroyed where he showed himself before. But at the present time, the invaders are still moving chaotically around the city and there are a lot of them,” commented “Fierce.”

The 7th Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU AFU) published a video on Telegram of the destruction of manpower and equipment of the army of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation. They added that as of 13.00, an operation was underway to actively clear the north of Pokrovsk from the invaders, where they stopped the expansion of the presence of Russians in this part of the city and prevented the enemy from cutting the road connecting Pokrovsk and Rodinskoye.

Over the past few days, the defense forces have created opportunities to complete the task of replenishing troops in the brigade’s area of responsibility with additional personnel and equipment, the press service noted.

“In general, yesterday, November 2, the Ukrainian military eliminated 19 Russians in the city. To counter the enemy, we continue to attract more assault units and special forces. The situation in Mirnograd is tense, but not threatening. The enemy was detected on the approaches to the south-eastern outskirts of Mirnograd. The total number of enemy personnel is insignificant – about 10. Work continues to eliminate them. The defense of the city is already replenished with additional forces,” the military noted.

In a November 1 report, analysts from the Institute for the Study of War indicated that Russian troops had intensified assault operations in the Pokrovsk area, trying to completely capture the city. The occupiers have recently advanced into the central and southeastern parts of Pokrovsk, experts reported, citing geolocation footage released on October 31 and November 1.

On the same day, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky noted that a complex operation was underway in the Pokrovsk direction to destroy and oust Russian troops.
