The explosion occurred on Monday at a Chinese restaurant in a hotel in Kabul's well-secured commercial district, which houses offices, shopping malls and diplomatic missions.
Six Afghans and a Chinese national were killed in the blast; several people were injured, including children, Reuters added, citing local authorities.
