Construction will begin in Krasnoyarsk soon the second stage of the Krasny Yar industrial park. Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the region, general director of the park Alexander Sivaev told head of the regional government Alexei Medvedev about expansion plans.
“In May 2026, we will begin preparatory work for the construction of the second stage. The total volume of production and office space will be 21,800 square meters. We rely on flexibility: the premises will be offered in blocks of 480 square meters, which will allow companies of different sizes to accommodate. By July 2027, we plan to put into operation the first building with an area of 2,500 square meters. Potential residents are already showing interest, 4 companies are considering the possibility of locating their production facilities here,” he explained.
Let us remind you that the first privately owned industrial park created in the region is located in the industrial zone of the former Sibelektrostal metallurgical plant. The site appeared in 2012. During this time, the total investment in the design and construction of infrastructure facilities amounted to 760 million rubles. Another 980 million rubles is the total amount of investment from residents in the creation of production facilities.
Currently, 9 residents have localized production here, mainly from the field of metalworking and mechanical engineering. The total number of working specialists is 1,137 people. Last year alone, they transferred 550 million rubles in tax and customs payments to budgets of all levels.
Alexey Medvedev got acquainted with the work of key enterprises of the park. He noted the cooperation of residents with the main industrial and mining companies of the region, as well as their involvement in the implementation of significant projects in the region: the construction of a metrotram in Krasnoyarsk, the development of oil fields in Taimyr, the renovation of airports in remote areas, major repairs of schools and other social facilities.
“The expansion of the industrial park is evidence that the regional economy has a great demand for industrial sites with ready-made engineering and transport infrastructure. Therefore, our plans include the development and support of new industrial parks, including in the region’s supporting cities, in order to build cooperation, initiate or “land” technological projects in different industries and territories,” emphasized the chairman of the regional government.
