
“My intimate videos are already spreading online. I’m not going to hide or be embarrassed – only those who did it and who continue to spread it should feel shame,” the artist wrote.
She reported that on January 10, they began to blackmail her with intimate videos and extorted money. According to the artist, she immediately contacted the police with a criminal complaint.
“It’s as if I had something there since October 2025. I have all the evidence that this is a lie. Now that the video is on the Internet, I want to say: my body is not a reason for humiliation or enrichment. It belongs only to me,” the artist emphasized.
She called on journalists and bloggers not to distribute the video, noting that this is a violation of the law on personal data and privacy.
“I am not silent, because in the modern world there can be no place for blackmail. Let my difficult experience be an example for everyone who goes through this – don’t tolerate it, don’t try to negotiate, don’t pay. Record it, declare it, speak up,” the artist urged.
What happened
On the night of January 19, many Ukrainian Telegram channels reported that they had been sent an intimate video with the participation of Elena Topoli. It is not specified who exactly is sending it out.
The authors of the public pages stated that they would not distribute the video compromising the singer.
Context
Elena Topolya was married to Ukrainian artist Taras Topolya. They got married in 2013. In their marriage, they had three children – Roman (2013), Mark (2015) and Maria (2020). Taras and Elena announced that they decided to divorce on December 1, 2025. The couple noted that they made the decision together, calling it balanced for each of them.
The couple did not give reasons for the separation. Amid the divorce, Taras and Elena Topoli unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Previously, the couple repeatedly during the interview talked about problems in marriage. A court hearing at which Taras Topoli's claim for divorce from his wife will be considered, will take place on January 14 in the Podolsky District Court of Kyiv.
