CFR Cluj announces the transfer of a footballer from Rapid, on the day of the match with Oțelul Galați

CFR Cluj announced that it has transferred the German right back Christopher Braun (34 years old) from Rapid Bucharest.

“The clubs CFR 1907 Cluj and FC Rapid have reached an agreement for the definitive transfer of Christopher Braun to our team! So, starting today, Chris is part of the CFR family again!
Braun also pulled on our team's shirt in the 2022/2023 season, when he made 44 appearances and was instrumental in our European run that season.
In the last 2 and a half seasons, he played for Rapid, a team for which he collected 78 matches”, the press release of the club from Gruia states.
Quoted by Transfermarkt at 200,000 euros, Braun also played throughout his career at Hamburg U17, VfL 93 Hamburg U19, St. Pauli U19 and II, Wlhelmshaven, VfB Oldenburg, Wattenscheid 09, Fortuna Sittard, Ofi Creta and FC Botoșani.
CFR Cluj plays on Sunday, from 17:45, at home, against the Oțelul Galați team. The hosts are 11th with 26 points, while the visitors are 7th with 33 points.
