A ghost plane went missing in Indonesia. It was carrying three important passengers

The Indonesian plane disappeared from radar
The agency indicates that An Indonesia Air Transport plane lost contact with air traffic control around 13.30 (05.30 GMT) near Maros region in South Sulawesi province.
The plane was flying from Yogyakarta province to Makassar, the capital of South Sulawesi, before contact was lost. There were eight crew members and three passengers on board.

“About 400 officers, including military and police units, were sent to search for the plane and those on board, although the operation was hampered by bad weather,” Reuters reports.
It is suspected that the plane crashed near the top of Mount Bulusaraung.
The Indonesia Air plane had ministry employees on board
The plane was chartered by Indonesia's Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Pung Nugroho Saksono, a ministry official, told state news agency Antara.
Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono announced that three passengers are ministry employees conducting aviation supervision over fisheries.

The ATR 42‑500 is a regional turboprop aircraft that can carry 42 to 50 passengers.
According to unconfirmed data from Flightradar24, a plane matching the description was flying east over the Java Sea at an altitude of about 11,000. feet, then rapidly lost altitude and was no longer tracked by systems.
